How Palmuse turns one palm photo into a reading.

The short version

Palmuse checks that the image is usable, sends the valid palm image for AI-assisted interpretation, returns a structured reading in your selected language, and removes the temporary upload after processing where possible. An automated cleanup removes any remaining upload within 24 hours.

1. You capture or choose a palm photo

On Android or the mobile web app, you can take a photo of one open palm. The complete hand should be visible from the wrist area to the fingertips, with even light and enough focus to see the main creases.

The browser or operating system controls camera permission. Palmuse receives an image only after you capture or choose one and continue.

2. The image passes a practical quality check

The production backend checks whether the image shows the palm side of one open hand and whether the palm is visible enough to continue. A medium-quality photo is acceptable; the gate is designed to reject obvious problems such as the back of a hand, a heavily cropped palm, very poor focus or an unrelated image.

This step protects the user from paying for or waiting on a report built from an unusable image. It is an input-quality check, not a biometric identity check.

3. Google Gemini helps create the interpretation

Palmuse uses the Google Gemini API for AI-assisted readings. The system asks the model to describe visible features before applying symbolic palmistry language. The report structure and safety rules require non-deterministic future language and prohibit medical diagnosis, lifespan prediction, guaranteed money outcomes and harmful doom claims.

4. Palmuse structures the response for reflection

A quick reading focuses on the three main lines. A detailed reading can organize more visible features into sections such as personality themes, strengths, blind spots, love, career, money mindset and personal growth. Palm Match compares two submitted palms through symbolic dimensions such as communication rhythm, values, energy and growth.

Scores are symbolic feature-strength indicators. They are not medical values, psychological test scores or scientific compatibility probabilities.

5. The temporary palm photo is deleted

After a reading job completes or fails, Palmuse deletes the temporary upload where possible. The automated cleanup removes any remaining palm-photo upload within 24 hours. Palm Match invite links expire within the same 24-hour window. Palmuse does not use palm photos to train its own models.
